The sweet baby who gave us our first experience of being grandparents is now nine-years-old. What a great blessing she has been in our lives. We love her so much. Not more than the others, but as all parents know, special in their own special way. She has taken on so many responsibilities in her short little life. She is such a good helper to her mother, and sweet sister to her brothers. I saw her do the sweetest thing thing morning. She came out of her bedroom to the living room where Grandpa was sleeping on a "blow-up" mattress with Kayden. She was carrying her new birthday gift from Aunt Nicky, a bunny rabbit. She knew that Kayden liked to hug the bunny, so she lifted up the blanket and laid the bunny next to him, then covered them both up again. What a sweetheart. I am so glad she is my little sweetheart. She has taught me to love my grandchildren and get excited for each one. I hope you have a very happy birthday, little Miss Alexis Maree Gale!

she is growing up so much! tonight she asked Tammy "mom, have we talked to Aunt Linda?" she ran to get the mail to see if she had anything "special" in the mail and she saw a card in there from Donna. She was so excited. She knows she is loved by so many people.
